Custom Development

One size does not fit all. That’s why the Studio offers custom solutions, so we can match our capabilities specifically to your needs.

Every client—and every project—is unique. We take the time to learn about your needs, your culture, and your preferences. At the end of the day, you need to see a measurable business impact. We make sure you get there.

We'll create engaging, interactive courses developed from scratch or based on preexisting materials and brand identity.

If you don’t have the time or know-how to develop courses internally, we’ll work with you and your subject-matter experts to gather, organize, design, write, and build engaging, interactive e-learning courses.

Jump-start your internal development efforts with our custom templates. We'll bring your vision to life with a fresh, clean user interface which can serve as the framework for your future e-learning courses.

Professional Narration

Nothing makes a bad impression quite like bad audio. we've got plenty of talented professionals on call with very reasonable rates, keeping costs down and quality up.

Our Studio's eLearning workflow ensures correct translation and localization, seamless integration, and user-friendly deliverables that provide the same user experience as the source content.

Custom Interactions

We'll push the limits of what's possible with Articulate 360. But on the off-chance you need a custom interaction built, we can do that as well with custom HTML5 coding.

Serious games for serious learning. We'll be the first to tell you that game-based learning isn't always the answer. but for some content, it can serve as a great motivator for the learner.

Our Process... basically,

Project Kick-Off

Project Kick-Off

Start strong--finish strong. We place a heavy emphasis up front on really understanding you, your stakeholders, your audience, your business need, and your content. During the start-up phase, we review what content you have, talk to the key stakeholders about what success looks like, and then work together to make important design decisions to ensure your project’s success.

Design & Develop Course Prototype

Design & Develop Course Prototype

If this is your first course or if you are looking for a “makeover,” we’ll develop a prototype for you with five to seven slides. As we develop the prototype, we work with you to make important design decisions around fonts, colors, style, navigation, and device compatibility. By seeing several slides in action, you can feel confident in the decisions we’ve made together and the direction your course is heading. Plus, you’ll have an opportunity to test the prototype to make sure it works in your learning management system.

Write & Review Storyboards

Write & Review Storyboards

The storyboard is the slide-by-slide blueprint of the course. We use our instructional design expertise to identify the course objectives and use the storyboard to outline our approach to teaching these objectives. The storyboards you receive will describe all of the content, interactions, and assessments, and will provide visual suggestions about graphics and animations.

Develop & Review Online Course

Develop & Review Online Course

This is where your storyboards come to life! The online draft is a working, living, breathing version of your course with all the content, audio and video (if used), graphics, interactions, and assessments ready for you to test. You and your stakeholders can review everything to make sure it meets your expectations. We have a formal yet generous review policy that lets you request reasonable changes along the way.

Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance

After a course goes live, you want to get phone calls about how great that course is...not that it wouldn't load or that a link didn’t work. We have a team of trained testers who review the courses for technical functionality, grammatical accuracy, style consistency, and browser compatibility. If you are trying to reach a broad audience on a wide variety of devices, you’ll feel confident knowing that your course works from start to finish.

Publish & Deliver

Publish & Deliver

Once everything has been approved, it’s time to share the course with your audience! We turn over the published course files for you to post on the platform of your choice, such as your website or learning management system. We’ll also give you all the source files we used to create the course, in case you ever want to make updates yourself.

Okay, so that's how we do it.
Let's talk!

About custom course development...

Nada.  We’ll help with you find the right solution no matter what stage of the process you are in. So whether you have a detailed online course outline and storyboard, or you’re a subject matter expert with valuable info floating around in your head, we can start from there.

Short answer?  Yes.  As long as your LMS supports SCORM 2004, SCORM 1.2, AICC, or Tin Can, your eLearning course will be able to speak to your LMS. Just to be sure though, we’ll verify that the course functions correctly in our Prototyping phase.

Good question! It all depends on the length of the course and how much of your material is already prepared for development. We suggest allowing 2 months for each thirty minutes of finished course material.

Yes! All of our Articulate Storyline courses are mobile compatible and will work on all computers, tablets, and smartphones. However, if you’re looking for a mobile ‘responsive’ course that is designed specifically for mobile devices, we suggest using Articulate Rise for your course development.  And guess what. We do that too!

You bet.  Once we’ve completed development we hand over all of the Articulate Course files, any graphics used in the course, course narration, everything. That means you’re free to make any changes to your content that you see fit, forever.

The only thing that you can’t do is re-use the graphic elements of the course for other purposes outside the course.

Just reach out for a free estimate. We’ll ask you a little about your project and content. Then we’ll put together a detailed development estimate, and even a free course prototype if you’d like. No commitment necessary on your part.
